LION PACIFIC is presently expanding it’s wings in the railway construction industry whereby several track engineers and it’s technical expertise have been recruited in the last two years to fill up the company’s railway division.

With several contracts secured with Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad and also as a sub-contractors with other railway related companies. LION PACIFIC is now emerging as one of the local company in Malaysia specialised in Railway Track construction, railway bridges and other related railway engineering. With the rapid expansion of this division, LION PACIFIC is now ready to indulge in a more mega railway projects.

We have the expertise not only in the construction of rail sectors, but also we have the capabilities of undertaking designing of track, all aspects of train signaling system and with the number of professionals with us, we are capable of becoming a Project Management Consultant team. Citing an example of our in-house capabilities, our design team designed 133.3 km of track profile for the proposed track strengthening works between stations Gemas and Kerdau. The works involved surveying, designing longitudinal profile of track with provision for 250mm ballast cushion within the ruling gradient of the section and working out solutions for realigning of curve to the best curvature and transition.

With the trust given to us, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad have awarded another major project to Lion Pacific Sdn Bhd in the rehabilitation of wek railway track formation – Klang Valley electrified double track. These works are ongoing progressively.
